Getting a Habitat home has changed our lives. It has brought a lot of security and peace of mind to our family. Just knowing that we own our own home and that money isn’t being given away to a rental property, we are now creating our own equity which is very reassuring for our future. It’s nice to come home to a clean environment and not worry about inhaling smoke from the other tenants or mold that has taken over your bathroom. Having our own home has been better for our overall health in many way; mentally, physically and emotionally. Our future is looking a lot brighter thanks to Habitat.
