Rev. Lyle MacKenzie dressed in pajamas at the blitz build kick-off rally to represent volunteers will be living, breathing and sleeping Habitat for Humanity for the duration of the build.


The Camrose City Council gave Habitat for Humanity the option to pay for a lot for the 2000 build over a years time, and pending payment in full, would also waive the development and construction fees.

Bob Bailey and the Charlie Killiam Jazz Ensemble present the Jazz for Humanity concert. All proceeds from a freewill offering were given to Habitat for Humanity Camrose.

Karey Clement, mother of the second Habitat for Humanity Camrose partner family, received keys to her new Habitat home from chairperson Ina Neilsen on September 26, 1999.

Ina Neilsen “kicks-off” the 1999 Blitz Build on September 12.

The community was invited to partake in the 4th Annual Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction.
